Absolutely! Cake tasting boxes are available for pick up from our Little Elm location on select dates throughout the year (usually every 4 months or so!)The box includes 5 cake flavors and two mini macarons for $35. Wedding clients that have made an enquiry with us will receive a $10 off their cake order.

How do I place an order?

Please go to our “contact us” page to submit an enquiry form. We will respond as soon as we can. If you have any questions, you can email us at admin@figandblossomcakes.com!

How far in advance do I need to order?

For wedding cakes, your best bet is as soon as possible. A 50% must be made to secure your date!

Do you use Fondant?

So sorry, we do not cover any of our cakes in fondant. All cakes are iced in swiss merengue buttercream.

Can my Florist do the flowers on my cake?

Unfortunately, we do not allow anyone else to dress our cakes. The finishing touches are often the entirety of the design and something we really pride ourselves on. In select circumstances, we will work with your florist and have them supply the flowers for the cake. We will then prepare them on site, the day of the event.

Do I have to pay now?

We ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the booking in order to secure your date. Your booking is NOT confirmed until this deposit is received. Your spot, on the date of the your event, may be given to another client if the deposit is not received. The final installment is due 7 day prior to your event date.

Do you deliver?

Yes! But we are limited to weddings and larger cakes, for a fee. Delivery is $45 for within 30 minutes of Little Elm, $80 for within 90 minutes, and $130 for within 2 hours. Otherwise, all other special occasion cakes, must be picked up at our location in Little Elm, TX.

How do I transport my cakes?

Single tiered cakes can be carried in your lap or on the floor of the passenger side of your car, with the air-conditioner on. Make sure to brake and take corners slowly. For larger cakes, I advise requesting delivery for the safety of your cake. Before and after transporting any of our cakes, please make sure your cake has been well refrigerated.

How do I keep/store the cake?

Keep the cake in a refrigerator, in the box, until at least 45 min-1 hour before cutting. Afterward, your cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or in the freezer for up to 30 days. Be sure to wrap each slice in clear plastic wrap and place them in an air tight container.

How long can I display my cake?

In the heat of Texas, buttercream cakes can soften and melt a lot quicker if being held outside. It is best to display it indoors and out of direct sunlight. If it must be outside, I recommend cutting it within 30-45 min. If it is inside, your cake can be displayed for up to 4 hours.
